Summer 2013

Thank to trip of a lifetime I had the best summer I could ever have. Meet more friends in two weeks, than you meet your whole school year. The beginning of the trip is one of the best things ever because most of us go and don’t know nobody out of fifty kids. Were lost trying to start a conversation where we think we can fit. Is also one of the hardest parts of the trip because not everybody’s characteristics are the same and it will be harder for ones than it will be for others. In my own experience in the airport I did not know what do, everybody was talking and I was one of the only ones only listening to everybody. Soon the most proud moment comes where you meet your first friend, there is going to be somebody that is alike to you and comes and talk to you. In my experience I was cool with almost all the boys by the exit of the airport because of baseball. They all loved baseball and I never knew that. There’s going to be something in them just alike to something in your past, just stand up and begin the first day having a trip of a lifetime.

California this California that, is true what people say it is one of the most beautiful places in the world. My dream was to visit California and to have fun over there, Trip of a lifetime made my dream come true just by starting the day off. The first night we all played games to know each other like a regular first day, and then off to have fun. Who knew that same day we were going to have fun? In the night we went to an Oakland Athletics games to see them play the Chicago Cubs. We were already doing something I love and it was only the first night. The next day was July fourth, I loved that day. We went to the famous San Francisco to see the firework. It was only the second day of the trip and almost everybody knew my name and they were calling me back and forth. Manny let’s take a picture, Manny come here, many come sit with me on the bus. It’s just incredible at the speed that you meet so many friends you will never believe it.

Having room time is not boring at all is pretty fun. Your roommates are like your little brother or sister when you’re with them. They treat you with so much love, it’s like you guys knew each other forever. I had this roommate that I roomed with them two for 3 hotels and we always had fun. We were boys so as usual were going to do some fun things. We bought a basketball court and put it in the room and in the night when we got back to our room we will start playing basketball. In the morning when we have room time we will take the court to the hallways and play basketball there with the other boys. It’s about the same thing with your bus mate you pick him, you can change every day but when you’re sitting with them you guys are having fun. Laughing, listening to music, playing games, singing campfire songs. In the bus we have times where the whole bus gets music time and there is a DJ for the ride that will pick the songs we will hear. We also had times were the whole bus will say jokes one person at a time and most of the people had the whole bus laughing.

The most wonderful part of the trip was Lake Tahoe and Disneyland. I never been to none of those places and those places are ones of the most famous place in California. Lake Tahoe is the cleanest water in the United States and we all get to swim in it, not only swim we also got to tube and water ski in it. Tubing was so fun because you got pulled by a boat on a tube at a speed of 45 miles per hours with very high waves. The goal is to not try to fall out of the tube. I always saw that in movies and I thought when am I going to do that. I did it thanks to trip of a lifetime. The happiest place on earth as kids call it Disneyland was the best part of the whole trip. I looked like a baby when I was in there. I thought everything was cute, I thought all the rides were so fun. Disney is the happiest place on earth. We  left Disney at 9:00 pm. All tired of all of the fun.

Trip of a lifetime made my dream come true. They made me have the best summer of my whole life. I wish I can do this next year again. All the fun I had was incredible and also all the friends I met. The last day which was the airport everybody was crying because we had to leave. I remember that we when and my best friend hugged she started crying and I couldn’t help it but to cry on her shoulder. I miss her so much she texts me every day. That’s one of the best things about this trip that you will never lose contact with your peers. They will always be around you because this is a small world and the first thing they’re going to ask you for is your phone number. Thank you trip of a lifetime for making m have the best summer and meet a lot of new friends.
